Meadow Hill Community Garden and Classroom is the oldest school vegetable and fruit garden in Missoula. It is also a community garden, making it a unique place where many members of our community, young and old, can come together to work and learn. In 2009, over 500 students visited or worked in the garden, many of them coming multiple times. This included students from Meadow Hill Middle School and Cold Springs Elementary. Garden City Harvest employs a part-time garden coordinator and educator at this site as a resource to community gardeners and the MCPS students and teachers that use the garden as an outdoor classroom.
