Orchard Gardens Neighborhood Farm and Community Garden was created in 2005 in partnership with homeWORD at the affordable housing complex in the Orchard Homes neighborhood – a neighborhood rich in agricultural history. The farm offers cooking and gardening classes to children living in the complex, a community garden, and a farm stand where EBT cards are accepted. The farm also supplies the Garden City Harvest Mobile Market Program.
