What it is
Started in 2010, the Youth Farm is collaboration between Youth Homes and Garden City Harvest to grow local food, community, and young leaders. Our teens learn the skills necessary to grow high quality food while becoming active, vital members of their working farm and community. The Youth Farm is a busy place, growing food for an 18-week summer CSA, delivering produce through our
Mobile Market for Missoulians with low-incomes, providing food for nine local shelters and youth homes and facilitating an environment of empowerment for our teens. The CSA is at the heart of our mission, designed to bring our kids into the community by sharing their hard work and the food with their members.
