Farm to School Garden Manager

We are looking for a School Gardens Manager to be a part of the Farm to School program team! This position manages and maintains 3 school gardens in Missoula, including teaching garden lessons to elementary school students during the spring and fall, hosting summer garden hours, and leading cooking classes in the garden.  This dynamic job is fun and is mostly outside!  Applications are due by Friday February 16, 2018. Farm to School Assistant

We are looking for a Farm to School Assistant to be a part of the Farm to School program team! This position assists the Farm to School program in many way, including helping teach in and maintain school gardens, planting and tending to the Central Kitchen garden and processing the food grown there, and leading educational field trips at the PEAS Farm. We are looking for two Farm to School interns to be a part of the Farm to School program team! The Farm to School Educational Internship offers candidates an opportunity to learn about teaching firsthand through work with the Garden City Harvest Farm to School program. The educational intern will learn to lead educational field trips at the PEAS Farm, assists with summer camps, and help with school garden activities. This dynamic job is fun and is mostly outside! Neighborhood Farms: Farm Assistant

We are looking for a Farm Assistant for our River Road Neighborhood Farm. The River Road Farm Assistant will assist in the day-to-day farm operations at Garden City Harvest’s oldest site, a 3.75 acre neighborhood farm and community garden. Community Gardens: Summer Internship 

We are looking for an intern to work with the Community Gardens program! The Community Gardens Internship offers candidates an opportunity to develop gardening, community building, and educational skills while enhancing the program for Garden City Harvest and its participants. This program supports nine community garden sites and one therapeutic hospital garden; providing healthy community spaces, tools and education for Missoula residents, families, and groups to grow their own food. Youth Harvest Project: Summer Internship

We're looking for a program Intern for Youth Harvest Project, a therapy-based, service-oriented work program for at-risk teenagers. The intern will perform daily farm tasks, supervise youth in operating a mobile market at senior residences, and support menu planning and harvest for our weekly lunch at the local food bank. Intern receives a $500 stipend.
