Garden City Harvest's four neighborhood farms

While each farm is unique, they all share a common goal: to grow food for Missoulians in need. That food is distributed by our Mobile Market, the Poverello Center–Missoula’s homeless shelter, the Missoula Food Bank, Youth Homes, and many other partnering agencies around town. I really feel like we have a good handle on what some of the bigger challenges are. When you think of some of our challenges we've done the easy stuff, which is grow a bunch of food and find places to distribute it. The bigger task is to cut back on waste and to empower people through skills as to how to use the food. - Greg, River Road Farm Director
