Description

Ever wonder what to keep and what to compost when you are cleaning up your garden in the fall? Or, whether to cover your soil with anything, and if so, what? This Learning Together session will help you think through how to prep your garden for winter so that you are ready for a great season come spring. We will make this content come to life by taking a look at some garden plots and materials at the Northside Community Garden. Bring your wisdom and your list of questions. All experience levels are welcome.

Sarah Holden, Horticulture Agent at Missoula County Department of Ecology and Extension, will facilitate this session. Sarah has many years of experience teaching about gardening and growing food.
