Why is it important to plan your garden? Planning means production! From spacing your garden for maximum output to advanced planting tricks, this workshop will help you make the most of your garden space.

We’ll cover:

  • succession planting

  • crop rotation

  • how to select the right number and variety of vegetables to feed your household

Leave the workshop ready for action: by the end of the session, you will have a map of your garden and a garden planting calendar!

about the instructor

Lindsey MacDonald is our Community Gardens Director. She has a degree in conservation ecology, significant teaching experience, an organic farming certification, and work experience in many different types of growing spaces. She is passionate about the power of food to bring people together and to create agency.
