Workshop: Starting Seeds Indoors

  • Garden City Harvest 1657 River Road Missoula United States (map)

workshop details

Dig in early by starting your seeds indoors!

Growing your own seedlings can save you money and allow you to grow a larger variety of plants than you might find at the store. But starting seeds indoors can be tricky. This workshop will ensure you start your garden off strong!

We’ll cover:

  • What you need to build your own seed starting kit

  • Which crops are best started indoors in our climate

  • How to plant seeds, with a hands on lesson

What’s included:

This is a hands-on workshop. The cost of this workshop covers containers, soil, seeds, and plant tags for each participant to plant six seedlings that you can take home in addition to the slides and resources provided in the lecture. Participants are welcome to bring their own seed starting trays and seeds.
